Once enrolled, you will receive a confirmation email with payment details via our secure payment provider.

A signed contract will confirm your monthly payment plan, which will be billed every 30 days automatically.

Late payment fees will apply for missed instalments as specified in your contract.

Course certifications will not be issued until the full course fee has been paid.

All payments are subject to UK VAT where applicable.

8. Work Placement Terms

Work placements are unpaid and are only available with select courses.

A minimum commitment of one day per week (9 AM – 5 PM) for three months is required.

Participants must have completed the required training before starting a placement.

If unable to secure a work placement, we will offer remote experience opportunities.

Any unauthorised absence exceeding two weeks may result in termination of the placement.

Work placements do not hold monetary value and may be discontinued without compensation.

All work placements comply with UK employment law and health and safety regulations.

9. Other Terms & Conditions

Students must complete their training within the specified term limit.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.

The British Learning Centre reserves the right to use student testimonials and images for marketing purposes, subject to your consent.

The following fees apply:

  • Hard Copy Certification Fee: £25
  • Late Payment Fee for Instalments: £49
  • Examination Fee (3 attempts): £155
  • Programme Cancellation Fee: £360

All fees are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to unforeseen events, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government regulations or directives
  • Technical failures beyond our control
  • Acts of terrorism or civil unrest

12. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Consumer Rights

Cooling-Off Period

  • You have the right to cancel your enrolment within 14 calendar days from the day after you receive your course materials or are granted access to the digital learning platform (the “cooling-off period”).

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to help@britishlearningcentre.co.uk.

Returning Materials

  • If physical course materials are provided, these must be returned in a resaleable condition at your own expense.

  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned materials, minus any applicable cancellation or administration fees.

Digital Content

  • In line with Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, once you have been granted access to digital course content (such as online modules, e-learning platforms, or downloadable materials), and you have consented to immediate access and acknowledged that this waives your right to cancel, no refunds will be issued.

  • This is because digital products are treated differently to goods and services under UK law: once accessed, they are considered non-refundable

  • Disclaimer
    This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights under UK law. If you are dissatisfied with how your cancellation or refund request has been handled, you may contact Trading Standards or seek assistance through an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme.
